Alex Thomas is a Licensed Addictions Counselor. He has a masters degree in Human Services with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Counseling. He also has national certification as a Master Addictions Counselor through NAADAC. He owns Heritage Outpatient Treatment Services, LLC. This agency is licensed by the state of Colorado to provide substance use disorder services to the criminal justice population. Alex also works with non-offenders experiencing substance abuse issues.
Alex is a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) who evaluates employees who have violated a DOT (Department of Transportation) drug and alcohol program regulation and makes recommendations around education, treatment, follow-up testing and aftercare.
Alex is also a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) and the American Society of Addition Medicine (ASAM). He is also a member of NAADAC, the Association of Addiction Professionals.
Alex is a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator.
